Inspirational and innovative art for the opera, theatre stage and performance art.
Directing opera and theatre
Helena Röhr is a stage director with 20 years of experience, working in opera, musictheatre and theatre,
who often co-creates projects as a devising director and playwright.
She brings new perspectives on
women’s experiences throughout history with a political feminist view, through vulnerability, strength and humour.
She often place these experiences in spaces that seem like naturalistic rooms, but that reveal multiple layers, enable divergence, encounters and simultaneity, and through meeting the spaces with intimacy, she let’s the audience explore and realize the core of being human.
